Migration from 11.11 to 11.31
We are planning to do a migration of our production servers from PA-RISC servers running with 11.11 to Itanium servers with 11.31.Dtabases are running with Oracle database.
Is there any document from HP for this migration.

Re: Migration from 11.11 to 11.31
You need to do a cold install of 11.31 OS on Integrity servers.
Then patch as required by Oracle.
Then install the appropriate oracle version.
Then migrate the data.
There is no other alternative starting out 11.11.

Re: Migration from 11.11 to 11.31
Why? 11.11 Oracle Storage - be it in RAW, Cooked or ASM Storage is compatible with 11.31/IA64 systems. You do not need to re-create, export/import or XTTS your PARISC/11.11 based Database even.
How?
Install OS on your Integrity Server
Install the same version but for Itanium on your 11.31 system. If you had Oracle 10.0.2.4 on 11.11, have the same version on your 11.31.
Move your Oracle Storage over to your 11.31 Server -- I trust all your storage are on SAN? If it's LVM, VXVM or RAW or ASM -- let us know and we'll tell you step by step how to.
Start your DB.

Re: Migration from 11.11 to 11.31
This gives you time.
You build new servers with entirely new hardware.
You install Oracle Server, to the version you want to end up with.
You shut down the database on PA-RISC, take a cold backup, copy it to the new server and go through Oracle's official data migration process.
