Mirror disk issues

hello guys,

The file systems are mirrored but we are unable to find MirrorDisk/UX software on my server using following command.

swlist | grep -i mirr*

the server discription is HPUX latin B.11.11 U 9000/800 1127164781 unlimited-user license

Hope you guys will give me some solutions.

lvextend
Usage: lvextend
[-A Autobackup]
{-l LogicalExtentsNumber |
-L LogicalVolumeSize |
-m MirrorCopies [-s] }
LogicalVolumePath [ PhysicalVolumePath... | PhysicalVolumeGroupName... ]
More arguments required.



If you don't see

-m MirrorCopies [-s]

you don't have it.

It could be included in your Operating Environment rather than installed separately. That could explain why you don't see it.

swlist -l fileset |grep -i mirr

LVM.LVM-MIRROR-RUN B.11.23 LVM Mirror
PHCO_36744.LVM-MIRROR-RUN 1.0 LVM.LVM-MIRROR-RUN
