I thought the mirror software was free for HPUX contract customers. I done see it on the 11.11 application cd.

No, it's not free, it's codeword protected, but you should have a codeword already - just enter that codeword and it should "magically appear".

Yes it is on the CD but you need a license code to actually use it.

Personally, I don't think it should be chargaeable software.

Its free only with mission critical operating environment of 11.11 . For other operating environments , you got to pay

Hi Robert,

No mirror software is not free, you will need a locense to use it.

The software is on the applicationj cdrom and is activated with a license key (code word).

I think it depends on the number of cpus you have in the server.
cpu++ => cost++

It depends on the 11i version you purchase.
The older "Base" OE & the newer Foundation OE & Techinical OE do NOT include MirrorDisk/UX.
Mission Critical OE DOES include MirrorDisk/UX

Thats right, I found the codeword, we are mission critical and it is free. I installed it OK.

Hi Robert,

If I'm not mistaken it will install "by default" from the MCOE disks. So either this system was ignited from a non-MCOE system or someone unchecked it at install time.
