Mirror to the rootvg

I have a system HP-UX 11.11 with 1 disk. On this disk i have the rootvg.
In rootvg i have oracle server aplication.
I upgrade the storage to more 2 disks, one equal to the vg00.
I wan't to create a mirror in vg00, and transfer the oracle server
aplication to the another disk.
How can i do it? It's necessary create a make_recovery tape? Whats the best pratises?

Yes, best bet is to do a make_tape_recovery.

Shutdown server, install new disks, then boot make_tape_recovery.

After reboot, create new volume group, say vg01, and migrate oracle to it (if separate mount point, use vxdump):

Mount old oracle to /zmnt/oracle
Mount new oracle on vg01 to /oracle

vxdump -0 -f - -s 1000000 -b 16 /zmnt/oracle | (cd /oracle ; vxrestore rf -)
