MirrorDisk bundle for 11iv2

Hi,

Sometime back while tryin to use "-M" or "-m" option in lvcreate on HPUX 11iV3 mahcine i got the following message.

hpia7// $ lvcreate -L 36 -M n /dev/vgtest108/
Usage: lvcreate
[-A Autobackup]
[-d Schedule]
[-i Stripes [-I StripeSize]]
{-l LogicalExtentsNumber |
-L LogicalVolumeSize}
[-n LogicalVolumeName]
[-p Permission]
[-r Relocate]
[-s Strict]
[-C Contiguous]
[-D Distributed]
VolumeGroupName
"M": Illegal option. <---------

which got resolved after installing the bundle, B2491BA.

Similarly what is the package required on HPUX 11iV2 ? is it the same ?

Thanks,
~amit

Re: MirrorDisk bundle for 11iv2

I think you need:

# swlist -l fileset |grep -i mir
LVM.LVM-MIRROR-RUN B.11.23 LVM Mirror
PHCO_35063.LVM-MIRROR-RUN 1.0 LVM.LVM-MIRROR-RUN

Re: MirrorDisk bundle for 11iv2

Yes, the productr number B2491BA is still the same (MirrorDisk/UX) unless you purchased an Operating Environment which includes MirrorDisk/UX (EOE or MCOE).
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
