MirrorDisk License Upgrade?

We recently upgraded our OS from 10.20 to 11i. We no longer had a support agreement so we involved a third party to do the install. After the install, the service tech notified us that we would require the updated MirrorDisk license. We already had MirrorDisk on 10.20, my question is whether or not the I get the key to install MirrorDisk on 11i free or if we are required to repurchase the product. For a tier 3 system I noticed it is quite spendy. Thanks in advance for any guidance with this issue.

Hi,

If you have a support agreement with HP, then you can apply for the license/codeword online or by calling them directly. If you don't have support from HP now, you may have to purchase the software and the license.

You should be able to get them to find it, even if you do not have the support anymore. They keep a record of these things, and you need to just tell them you upgraded the machine...

Thanx for the help. I will contact HP for the codeword info. Hopefully they can still provide it to me.
