mktemp produces a system core

Hi,

when i'm trying to use "mktemp -d /tmp" I'm ending up with a /tmp/core instead of a temporary file.

Any ideas ?

Tal.

Re: mktemp produces a system core

Hi,

There is a patch for mktemp (HP-UX 11.00) that stops core dumps - PHCO_21230.

Re: mktemp produces a system core

I have installed September Patch Bundle and I did a patch management on the server.

This is indeed an old patch no ?
