model name

I heard that there is a new naming convention for HP-UX Servers. Does anybody knows what is the new model name for:

SYSTEM: 9000
MODEL: 9000/800/N4000-36
RISC CHIP: PA8500
PA VERSION: 2.0
CPU SPEED: 440 MHz
CPUS: 4 active processor(s)
MEMORY: 4096 Mbytes of memory.

Thank you.

Re: model name

Hi Olga,

That model will remain an N4000.
Only the Ns that were 550 MHZ & higher were remaned to RP74xx - where the xx number could be related to the CPU speed.

Rgds,
Jeff

Re: model name

hello,

The HP 9000 N class server is now renamed as - rp7400. That's the new model. All new servers on this series will be rp74XX
