modem attached to port 2 on mux
I used the following command to add a modem to port 2 of mux and have error "a2 is not a valid port". But it is ok for a1.
mksf -d pci_mux0 -H 0/2/0/0 -p a2 -a 1 -f /dev/cua2a2
mksf: a2 is not a valid port for the hardware at 0/2/0/0
Can anyone help, please?

Re: modem attached to port 2 on mux
I would recommend using sam for adding modems..it is alot easier even though I don't use sam often.

Re: modem attached to port 2 on mux
I also recommend that please use the SAM to add modems . Incase it fails then do the following :.
edit /etc/uucp/Devices file , add entry like
Direct ttyd3a2 - 9600 direct \D
ACU ttyd3a2 - 9600 ps_mt1432_tone.
