Modems

I have modems that I need to add to a Service Guard cluster. The modems are attached to the N class server via a 16 Port mux. The mux has 2 input connectors ( I think, I can't find any documention on the Mux panel). Does anyone know if I can connect 2 servers to the 1 mux panel?

Re: Modems

Hi Dave,

Son't think you can connect the same mux to two servers. The two input connectors you are talking about are one each for 8 ports.

Also take a look at the thread below,

Hope this helps.

Re: Modems

Hi,
You can't connect one panel on two servers.
You can connect a fax on each server and put the fax spooler on a shared VG. If there is a crash on your first node the second one will send the spooled fax.
