Monitor issues
I am fairly new to hp-ux and have what is probably a simple question. I have a 712/80 running 10.20. My question is, the monitor I would like to use is a HP A4033A, everytime I plug it in, it blinks the power saving light and a login screen never comes up. I can plug an older monitor in and everything works fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is it a driver problem?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Monitor issues
Perhaps the default refresh rate is not good.
Press Tab on bootup to be brought to a menu
in order to change it.
Later,
Bill

Re: Monitor issues
Im not familiar with either your 9000 or the monitor but I know that some of these older HP's (like my 715/33) need a monitor that will support sync on green. Maybe your computer needs such a monitor?
