Monitor refresh rate higher than 75 Hz
Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to force the monitor on HP workstation to use refresh rate higher than 75 Hz.
Using /opt/graphics/common/bin/setmon
I get the following screen
**********************************
The HPA4982B graphics device supports the following monitor entries.
Entry Width Height Hz Font Description
----- ----- ------ --- ----- --------------------
-> 1 1280 1024 75 10x20 VESA
2 1024 768 75 8x16 VESA
3 1600 1200 75 10x20 VESA
4 1600 1024 76 10x20
***********************************************
'Technical Reference HP B2600 Workstations' also does not mention rates higher than 75 Hz. I guess that both the monitor and video apaptor are powerful enaugh to support 85 Hz refresh rate that is much better for eyes.
Many thanks in advance for any ideas!
BR,
Mihail
