monitoring emails sent from the unix box

We send our emails from our unix box thru our exchange server. Is there a way to monitor or see what is being sent, by who, how big, where is it going? Does any of that information get stored and should it get cleaned out? Anything that might shed some light on mail in the unix environment

Re: monitoring emails sent from the unix box

Hi Jeff:

'/var/adm/syslog/mail.log' should provide what you seek.

You can trim this file as you need.

Re: monitoring emails sent from the unix box

Hi Jeff,

/var/adm/syslog/mail.log file contains the log for all the sendmail logs & mails.

Cheers,
Raj.
