monitoring "nflocks" status

Hello,
we just had the problem that the value of "nflocks" reached is maximum value given by that kernel parameter. (How) is ist possible to monitor the value of the used nflocks without using glance?

Thanks in advance,
Stefan.

Re: monitoring "nflocks" status

You can probably do this with some form of the sar command.

I'm attaching an example that collects data.

man sar

lsof will give you that in the FD column.

Glance will also give you that information.
