Hi ...
I'm creating a new environment of alerts ..
what kind of commands do you suggest to me to alert the system? i mean, for cpu, disk, memory , etc ....

what commands do you suggest to me to use?

i know that i can use print_manifest , but what other commands could i use?

Hi Manuales:

You should have STM & EMS installed! The Support Tools and EMS Hardware Monitors will do this for you.

Hi Manuales:

You can do:

# swlist|grep -i -e support -e ems

...to verify that your Support Tools and EMS are installed.

Probably a good idea to install big brother: Google the phrase big brother hp-ux to find a download site.

That will monitor these things for you and let you know if they exceed a certain threshold.
