more memory ------swap device---problem ?

Hi guys,
I have to put 2GB memory in my machine. At this point i have 1 GB RAM. My swap device is 2GB and ( in use 76 % )I do not have more space to create the anoher swap device or to increase the existing one. Of coures i could reduce one of my filesystem but i do not want do that.
Do i have to expect some problem by placing more RAM in my machine.
It is RP5450 with Hp-UX 11.11 on it

Thank you in advance

Idriz

None. Go for it. Use STM and the GSP logs for monitoring.

Idriz,

You should be fine. You may want to turn on pseudo-swap but that's the only thing I can think of.

To make sure that you will able to use all of your RAM when you add the additional 2GB, you will need to set the kernel parameter swapmem_on to 1.
