more than 6 domains in search of dns resolver

Hi,

if i run 'nslookup' and then 'set all' i see only 6 domains in my searchlist i configured in /etc/resolv.conf. I am convinced that i have no typo in my resolv.conf so it has to be a limit of dns. Is there any possibilty to extend the searchlist.

Hi ,

With default Resolver library it is not possible to extend this limit.

But you can try to Install BIND9.2 sotfware package from HP's software site which contains BIND9 resolver libraries said to break this limit.
