Motif Release

Hi
We are installing Oracle-8 on HP-UX 11.00 to
run on HP XTerminals. Currently we have Motif
release-4 running while Oracle installation
requires Motif Rel.5 OR Rel.6 how can we
switch to higher Motif Releases ?

The standard X11 / motif bits & pieces are installed from off the core O/S, applications programmers may also require additional libs stored in the development kits on the application CD's, I suspect this is not the case :

So all you need to do, would be to swinstall these, they're found under the CDE run-time product : at hp-ux 11.xx I beleive you'll be using Morif 2.1 /X11 R6.
