And none of them woks fine since i can't read the CD content properly.

Re: mount a CD
first unmount your CDROM
Then try the following
# mount /dev/dsk/cXtXdX /cdrom

Re: mount a CD
Do the normal mounting of the CD
#mount /dev/dsk/cxtxd0 /cdrom
If you are able to see the contents of CD, then the media is ok otherwise you need to change the media.
If the contents of the Media is not as normal, then it needs pfs mount
#vi /etc/pfs_fstab
make an entry
/dev/dsk/cxtxd0 /cdrom pfs-iso9660 xlat=unix 0 0
save and close the file.
#pfs_mountd&
#pfsd&
#pfs_mount /cdrom
now you should be able to read media, if you get the error saying that the media is not iso format, then replace iso9660 with rrip in /etc/pfs_fstab file.

Re: mount a CD
Hi,
Use both options so you don't see all uppercase letters:
#mount -F cdfs -o cdcase /dev/dsk/cXtXyX /cdrom
Bye...

Re: mount a CD
Hi,
I forgot to mention, you can save the line
mount -F cdfs -o cdcase /dev/dsk/cXtXyX /cdrom
to /usr/bin/mount_cd
and give it execute permissions instead of typeing every time you mount a another CD.
