mount virtual media on hpux on itanium
Hi,
does anyone know if its possible to mount virtual media using ilo on an itanium then somehow at hpux level mount that virtual device ? I have tried it with standard mount commands using cd/dvd shown by ioscan but no joy.

With ILO vMedia feature you can mount iso files from your PC. From the guest OS (HP-UX, Linux ...) you cannot mount it.

Unix Team,
The Integrated Lights Out cards where created as a solution to do remote installations and somehow have a HW level solution to insteract a bit with the OS. Given that it´s more a HW solution I see it difficult to mount it at the OS level.
