mounting a DVD on 11.i v3
I have just loaded 11.31 (11.i v3) and can not see my devices for my DVD. I did find the USB path but am unable to do anything with it.

Re: mounting a DVD on 11.i v3
Shalom,
ioscan -fnC disk
See if you see a DVD device, now you know the device file and can attempt a mount.
AS in previous versions of HP-UX if its not a supported piece of hardware you are out of luck.
a USB based DVD that would work with Linux will probably not work with any flavor or HP-UX.

Re: mounting a DVD on 11.i v3
The system is an RX6600 and I can boot to this device within EFI but the system does not see it as a DVD when it it booted to run level 3.
