Mountpoint is already mounted

Hi ,

We have a mountpoint , which was unmounted for some reason and now when we are trying to mount it its showing its already mounted , allowable mountpoints exceeded .

Checked through lsof , fuser -cu  nothing is showing .

Its NFS server any other solution other than reboot .

Mountpoints was not nfs mounted ..it was normal mountpoint .

Hpux 11.31 , rx2800i4 , hp 3par storage

Got a reply from HP support ;

Please install the below patch which has fixed the mount issues in VXFS 5.0.1

Patch Name: PHKL_44201

Patch Description: 11.31 VRTS 5.0.1 RP3P12 VRTSvxfs Kernel Patch

We already rebooted our server all is fine now .

Another work around for this issue which works fine is to delete the mointpoint  and re-create it and just do mount -a .

We had tried that too.

Even it was not working , later found that one of our sysadmin had ctrl-c'd it , since mounting took a bit time say 1 min and he panicked .

We should never do cntc-c while running such commands , let it fail and wait for the errors :)

Unfortunately he is not that experienced guy .
