Mouse Cursor hangs to the right on c3000
I've got a couple of C3000's that are running HP-UX 11. I recently reloaded them from 10.20 with a CD that I got from Ford with path bundles to load up I-Deas ms8.
Ever since I moved them over to HP-UX 11, I've run across a problem where when a user clicks on something the arrow points to the right and you can't click on anything. The only way to get it back to normal is to reset the dtsession process..
This is starting to get really annoying and I was wondering if anyone had any permanant fixes or ideas?
Thanks!!!!!!!
Leah

Re: Mouse Cursor hangs to the right on c3000
I'd compare the patches and dependancies you've installed with : http://tcnews.external.hp.com:8000/sdrc/patches/index.html#ms5
Sounds like a possible Xserver type issue but I've not come across this problem before.
Would I be right if I assumed the problem only occurs when you run CDE in conjunction with the CAD application ?

Re: Mouse Cursor hangs to the right on c3000
Hi Leah,
I've discovered the same thing with UX11 some time in the past.
The patch bundle you have got from Ford is probably not very current. There was a NFS problem in UX11 that was critical to Ideas and a special version (1.1) of the PHNE_21376 patch was created (it says 'Fix for Ford' when you do "what /stand/vmunix").
This problem has been solved by patch PHNE_22642 and later.
My suggestion to you is to apply the JUNE2001 XSWGR1100 patch bundle and install the latest NFS patch (PHNE_23833). You need to install the NFS patch since the NFS patch included with the XSWGR1100 (PHNE_22125) actually breaks the funciotonality of your Ideas patch bundle.
