I have a hp735 running 10.20 hp-ux with several applications e.g. ChemServer, Target, ... I want to move this installation to a c180 without reinstalling. I did a copyutil of the hp735's internal disks (7.6.0 and 7.5.0). After I restored them to the c180 and booted, the system paniced with error 'ccio driver not found in kernel'. How can I move this installation to the c180?

Hi,
The C180 system need some more driver than hp735, the easy way is to add all necessary driver on your 735 system (it will only build a kernel bigger, but still usable on the 735)
by using SAM. then doing your copyutil. I think you will need at least ccio, and pci drivers.
Cheers.

Re: move hp735 installation to c180
I was worried that the problem might be that the copyutil was copying hardware paths from the hp735 (7.6.0 and 7.5.0) that were invalid for the c180.

Re: move hp735 installation to c180
You could try using Ignite/UX ( http://software.hp.com/products/IUX ) and making a make_tape_recovery tape on the 735, and then installing it on the C180. I would suspect you would run into kernel driver issues here too though.
