Re: move installed product to a new system
Hi,
the compiler for the 11i is different from the one for the 11.0
In the shipment for the new server there must be also the set of application CD, with the aC++ in it.
You should contact your HP reseller for the upgrade of the license, as far as i know.
HTH,
Massimo

Solution
2 ways;
Firstly deinstall on currenty server.
1. If you have your support contract linked on the ITRC site then under the Software Update Manager (SUM) you can see a list of your installed licensed software, and simply click on the 11i version of aC++ and download it. Then you can install from this depot. No key needed.
2. Find the paperwork with the original CD codeword for 11.0 when you purchased aC++ and it should have attached a fax form you can send to HP (or alternatively an email address) to request a new codeword for your 11i apps cd's. Once you received your new codeword you can install it (unclock it) from your 11i apps cd's.

Re: move installed product to a new system
you can do this.
YOu have to have the software for 11i and it is licensed.
The software is placed on the application CD's.If you have the codeword you can install it.
