moving to new disk array
Iam intending to move from my existing disk array to a new LVM disk, i do intend to move all existing data on my current 64 Gig disk to 500G disk, the datas on my current disk array is not mirrored but will implement mirroring on the new disk array. Iam looking for the safest way to do these, i have examined various options such as copying from old disk array to new one. i'm not sure if i need to create new physical volumes on new disk array, but i will
subsequently create new volume groups for new filesystems. I need a step by step process to accomplish this, the OS is hpux11, my new hardware is winchester system. Any reference materials or straight forward guide will be appreciated.
thanks
