Re: MS Service Guard - Mirrord Diskstation Failed

Hi,

If something is not going wrong with the disks in the repared SC10 you have only to resyncron ize the mirrors after SC10 is available with vgsync or lvsync command.

Re: MS Service Guard - Mirrord Diskstation Failed

Please send me an output of vgdisplay command of one of your volume groups which has mirror on failed SC10.

vgdisplay -v volume_group_name

Re: MS Service Guard - Mirrord Diskstation Failed

When repared SC10 is connected to the system and powered up, first you have to do is to see is the system seen the disks on the SC10.
# ioscan -fnC disks
After you should start for each volume group on your system vgsync command.
Vgsync command synchronizes the physical extents of each mirrored logical volume in the volume group specified by volume_group_name.
Synchronization occurs only on the physical extents that are stale mirrors
of the original logical extent.

#vgsync volume_group_name

Synchronization can be time consuming, depending the amount of data and on the hardware characteristics. Unless disabled, the mirrors within a volume group are synchronized automatically when
the volume group is activated by the

#vgchange -a y volume_group_name

command, which can also happened when the system boot.

!!!It is not advisable to interrupt a vgsync process!!!
