Cannot see tape library (SureStore 6/60) on L2000 machine. OS 11.0 with MSTM a.29.00.

Can see library C7200 in ioscan.

Mark, if you have an x-emulator, like Exceed (on a pc) or an xterm, I'd suggest trying xstm and drilling into the scsi path.

Hi Mark,

Make sure you have "schgr" driver configured into the kernel to see the tape library in ioscan.

I ran xstm with exceed. I still cannot see the library although I can see it in ioscan. This came up with the need to drop back the firmware version on the lib. from 33 > 25 because of a bug. I got the firmware file from HP and was going to use mstm to make the change. The lib. is used with OBII 3.5 backup. No problem with backups.
