MTA under HP_UX

Hello everybody
I'm workin now under HP_Ux environement and I nned more information about X400 and MTA.. Can someone help me to good understanding this subjects..

hi,

MTA means Mail Transfer Agent eg. Sendmail, Exim, PostFix, etc.

This is a program witch transports Mail over several Connection Types, such as smtp (simple mail transport protocoll) or x400, this defines the way email are fromated, addressed (enveloped).
