Mystery issue with Adager??
Has anyone experienced a mysterious system hang with Adager running? Here are the details:
-Adager running in batch (Job has not changed in 11 months & Job runs every week).
-similar jobs ran successfully within an hour.
-Job ran for 7 hours but took only 549 cpu seconds.
-Other jobs which normally log on with hipri did not begin at all, logins couldn't take place.
After 7 hours the system just 'woke up' and started processing.
System is at 6.5.3.
Any thoughts??
Thanks,
Jeff Kubler

Re: Mystery issue with Adager??
Jeff,
Any chance that an on-line backup was running? If so, the disc space necessary for ADAGER to re-build the datasets may have not been available. This has happened to me before. As soon as the temp space on a volume set freed up, i.e. a tape write completed and the space was released, ADAGER went on it's way.
