n-class running mqseries

Hello,
I have inherited a n-class that is running MQ series. I am having trouble locating any error log for this - does one exist? I see logs but they seem to be in binary format - is there a tool to view? I am trying to integrate errors into a system admin script that I use to alarm on syslog errors.

Re: n-class running mqseries

Hi Michael,

We run a lot of MQ around here but we have a dedicated MQ support staff.
So I'm not sure but I do know that the log files are in fact binary & not ASCII. But check the /opt/mqm/bin/dmpmqlog binary. It may be what you need.

HTH,
Jeff

Re: n-class running mqseries

All binaries are under /opt/mqm/bin which are self explanatory by names.

Hope it helps
Thanks
Prashant
