Named fwritemsg: Broken Pipe

I have moved the primary DNS to a new server. After the change Zone server 'A' is not able to carryout an zone transfer from the primary DNS.
Following messages is found in syslog file :
named[10201]: fwritemsg: Broken pipe

How can I reinstate Zone transfers ?
