nap( ) equivalent with HP-UX 11i
Hi,
It seems nap (suspend execution of process for a specified delay) function does not exist under HP-UX.
Does anyone know what to use instead of nap ?
Thanks

Are you possibly looking for sleep?
My system has nap on it, but it is supplied with the C++ product.

On an 11.00 system and on an 11i MCOE system I was not able to find a specif nap command, on both systems I was able to man napms() but not nap()

Re: nap( ) equivalent with HP-UX 11i
on my 11.00 system:
swlist -l file |grep nap
C-Plus-Plus.CODELIBS: /usr/contrib/codelibs/nap
so I suspect that is what it is you have not yet loaded.
