NAT compatible with Kerberos?

Dear colleagues,
we use Kerberos to authenticate communications between our applications.
One of our customers wants to use the NAT, Network Address Translation.
I think it isn't compatible with kerberos...
does someone have some experience about that?

Should the Kerberos be configured properly to support the NAT?

regards
Enrico

Re: NAT compatible with Kerberos?

Hi Enrico,

Kerberos is compatible with NAT. Did you receive any errors while playing around ?

Re: NAT compatible with Kerberos?

Yes. You can use that environment.

Configure the NAT server ip-address in proxy_gateway configuration parameter in kerberos configuration file.
