Ok, how is everyone?
I am getting an Nclass and I am going to install 11i.
If I only have two internal 18 gig drives can I do the following?
Use one drive (a) for root.
Use drive (b) for a root mirror.
Use drive (a) for a 5 gb /app area
use drive (b) for a /app mirror?

Hi,
If those are the only two disks you will be able to use, and you explicit will use a mirror, I would suggest you put the /app in the vg00 volume group as well, so you will be able to mirror disk(a) to disk(b)

Re: Nclass >> 2 internal drives
It sure sounds possible, in fact I've done that many times myself.
Of course, you need mirror-ux...

Re: Nclass >> 2 internal drives
It sure is possible. /app has to be part of root volume group.
IT is great!
