need a dscopy executable

Does anyone know where I can download a dscopy executable for HP-UX 10.20.

Thanks,

Re: need a dscopy executable

I believe dscopy was part of an add-on product that allowed communication with an MPE (HP3000) machine. IIRC vt3k was a part of this addon product as well.

I doubt that it can be downloaded. The product may have been something like LAN/9000? I can't remember now, it's been too long, and the last time I worked with vt3k and dscopy was with HP-UX 9.x.

I checked one of my 10.20 machines and I didn't find dscopy.

Sorry! Good luck!!!!!

Re: need a dscopy executable

I have been doing some digging and I found a product called "VT3K 9000" that should be on your HP-UX Applications CDs, if you still have set. I do not know if dscopy is on there or not, but it might be worth a shot for you.

Re: need a dscopy executable

If I remember correctly, dscopy went away after HP-UX 9.x. I remember using it to transfer files between my HP-UX box and MPE/V Series 70 and then when we upgrade to UX10, that was no longer avaialable. I think the suggestion was to use FTP (which was no good for me to transfer files to/from MPE/V to UX).

I ending up setting up a PC as a middleman, with a scheduled file transfer to download from UX to PC and then to PC to MPE/V.
