Need recommendation for a small SAN for 3 HP-UX Servers

Hello,

1) I have 3 HP-UX servers and about 1TB total for all 3 of them.
Small Annual growth about 5%.
currently use VA7400 but the annual maintenance contract is forcing us to migrate.

Any Recommendations ?

out of the 3 servers. Two are in service guard.

One Primary has the prod app
2nd one is the dev/qa and also the failover for primary

In terms of ease of management you can't beat the EVA - the EVA4000 starts small enough for your needs:

Of course you will find cheaper, but when you have Serviceguard in the equation its hard to ignore the 'one throat to choke' support you get if using HP storage.

I would recommend an EVA4000/6000. You can get a used/refurbished one from HP reasonably cheap.

With your system, I think EVA4000/EVA6000 is good for choice.
Our system last time was runing with VA7400 but we have just mirgrate to EVA4000 to improve performance. Now I am free with EVA4000, no headache with low storage system problem.... :)

Sorry, but I must note that I loathe the va7400. AutoRAID is horrible. An if you eve had the opportunity to read the doc about AutoRAID and magic capacity - I definitely feel for you.
