need to create a new vpar on a itnanimum with access to tape

First you need to install a non-vpar system from your tape (perhaps in the 2-step method), then you can create and boot the vpar.

You cannot boot a vpar from tape on an Integrity server.

did vparenv -m vPars
did a shutdown -ry 0

now system panics and reboots
hoe do i get it back to the npar and where do i go from here?

I guess your config is wrong.

To set nPar mode:

either
MON> reboot nPars

or from EFI

Shell> parconfig nPars â n
Shell> parconfig reset

i got it back too npars... Now i configued vap1 and vpar 2 I have installation media hp-ux in the cdrom.. How do i get the install going on vapr1... Help please
