Need to print East Asian and UTF8
Our developers are trying to print East Asian and UTF8.
What do I need to do? Drivers, etc.
1)How to print East Asian text on the HP LaserJet 9000dn printer?
2)How to print UTF8 on the HP LaserJet 9000dn printer?
We are printing from :/tmp # uname -a
HP-UX prodnvi B.11.11 U 9000/800 unknown unknown HP-UX
Thanks,
Don

Re: Need to print East Asian and UTF8
It is possible only with the CDE/dtterm terminal sessions, where the FONTs will be understood. However to get the confirmation, following details are required from the system:
1.The type/info about the terminal which the end-user uses.
2.Whether the font has been hard coded in the terminal unit?
3. Is there any key combination available for printing symbol in the keyboard that we use, now?

Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial
