Netbackup client & patches for HP-UX 11i version 1.6

This is my first question to HP forums. Does anyone out there know the correct version of the Netbackup client by Veritas to run on an HP-UX 11i version 1.6 (Itanium) system? Info on any related patches would also be appreciated. I promise to learn how to award points for responses.

Hi,
I checked NetBackup 4.5 support matrix, I can find HP-UX 11.11 but nothing about Itanium. Perhaps there is no native Itanium client ready yet. This is similar to HPs own backup software OmniBack, there is currently not an Itanium version avilable.

Most (all ?) PA-RISC code will run on Itanium (but perhaps with limited performance). I have installed the PA-RISC version of OmniBack on an Itanium server but have not done any performance tests.

If there is no native Itanium client you can try the PA-RISC version, recommended patches for this relates to the PA-RISC version of the OS and is not applicable for the Itanium version.
