netmask error problem
I have read the threads both in this forum and on the newsgroups about the error encountered when attempting to sub divide a network using hp-ux. The work around solution suggests using the ndd command and/or editing the nddconf file. Neither this command or file are on my system. I am using HP-UX 10.20.
Does anyone know if there is an older legacy command and/or file to be used for 10.20?
Thank you,
Grant

Re: netmask error problem
The command used to be nettune
But I think there was a patch which introduced ndd onto 10.20... have a search through the patch database...

Re: netmask error problem
Just searched the patch database, and it looks like Uday is right, there is no patch to introduce ndd on 10.20.
I seem to remember that nettune had a much more limited set of tunable parameters as well, so whether you will be able to do what you require, I'm not sure...
