netscape communicator 4.79

FOr reasons that I just don't have the energy to go into, I am using netscape communicator 4.79 on a windows 2000 workstation.
I can get into the forums and see the posts but as soon as I go into a specific post, I can see the buttons but not the post itself.

Is this due to the version I am using or is it something else?

The recent itrc upgrade has caused problems with many browsers. Your browser however does seem to be on the certified list for itrc.

You may wish to consider reinstalling the browser. If that does not work, report your issue to Dan's issues thread, someone will get to it.

Hi Ronnelle,

It appears as though 4.79 is the not meshing with the forums right now. I've reported this problem to the support lab. They are researching a possible cause and I hope they will get a fix soon. Sorry about this....

I'm sure I can handle using my laptop for ITRC stuff for a while longer.

Also a problem for me, on Netscape 4.74, after the itrc was reorganised. I end up using IE 6 for the forums.
