Netscape error
Hi All
I am facing some strange problem. Like I am using netscape for send and receive mail with the help of HP-UX inbuilt move mail concept.
When ever i try to send mail its giving error message as follows
"You have not specified the user name in the preferences please specify the username" but i have cross verified with the working machine for the preferences. Everything was fine.
Can any one help me in this regards.
Thanks in Advance

Re: Netscape error
In order for netscape to send mail, a user name needs to be in the preferences of the browser.
These preferences need to be stored in the home directory of the user. Two things need to be checked:
1) location of where the default location for these preferences are saved.... edit prefererences
2) permission of where the preferences are stored. If the user can't write, he/she can't save netscape mail name.
