Nettl error
Hi All.
An anyone please tell me what the following error means.
********ARPA/9000 NETWORKING***********@#%
Wed Jan 22 SAST 2003 11:04:44.544701 ERROR Subsys:NS_LS_NFS Loc:02025
Network NS_LS_NFS Error 2025, pid 897
Function failed [server, function, error] : pnp12 getattr TIMED OUT
pnp12 is a remote host
The problematic server is called pnp30.
I had the problem where the machine would just hang for about 3 minutes & & then it would just come back. There are no error in syslog. No wierd fluctuations in sar output. The only error I saw was the above which I found from the nettl log file in /var/adm.

Re: Nettl error
Hi
You are running NFS between theses machines?
Network NS_LS_NFS Error 2025, pid 897
Function failed [server, function, error] : pnp12 getattr TIMED OUT
I would first of all set NFS connection to "soft" and also check if the network between the machines is stable.
