network card A4929A network speed problem

good morning all,

I have some trouble with the gigabit A4929A network card on hpux 11.11
i have 2 gig ethernet card and 3 cpu on the server. I made some transfert rate test and look with mrtg at the throughtput and i only found 100mbit. Cards are congigured at 1gb auto-neg. driver version installed : PHPHNE_28883. Must i set any specific parameters for these cards ?

have you installed J1642AA SW???

the installed drivers are gelan not btlan.

Does lanadmin -x mibstats show 100Mbit, or 1Gbit for the interface speed? If only 100Mbit then do your switches support gigabit? Do you have Cat 5e cables that you've seen at Gigabit speeds elsewhere?

What was your transfer test? I hope it did not involve the transfer of a file since that could limit things to disc speeds. Something like netperf or ttcp would be good to use for this testing - http://www.netperf.org/
