Re: Network configuration setup for Oracle RAC using sgerac
Hi,
When you have only two interfaces card by server the only problem that you will find is that you won't have a lan failover.
To configure LAN with this two NICs is simply:
1. one lan for client connection, in this interface you will have a stationary ip address + VIP IP address -> normally a floating ip that SGeRAC will handle
2. one lan for oracle CacheFusion
Regards,

Please check this document:
"Architecture Considerations and Best Practices for Architecting an Oracle 10g R2 RAC Solution with Serviceguard and SGeRAC, November 2006" which is located in the Whitepapers section of this webpage:
http://docs.hp.com/en/8831/10gRAC
It discusses network requirements for 10gR2 with SGeRAC.
