Network Connections

Does anyone know of a software package that runs on HP Unix and performs functions similar to "Fluke," i.e., sends out DHCP discovery packets to learn information about the port to which it is connected. Speed, routes etc.

Read the man page for lanadmin. That can tell you the speed and duplex of the system's port connection.
