Network Load Simulator....

I have installed 3 Gigabit cards and am testing them on a temporary switch.

I'm running scp, ftp and heavy load factors, trying to make sure everything is working right.

Is there a simple depot or open source tool I can install to really push this?

A bunny for any product I can download, install and get working today.

Re: Network Load Simulator....

Hi SEP,

I'd probably opt for ethereal. Set up client AND server sessions for each NIC & let 'em rip. Are all these on a single server or multiple servers? Doesn't really matter as long as you find end-point pairs for them all. But if they're on diff servers, then you could have 2 clients for each server & drive the heck out of them.

Re: Network Load Simulator....

Hi SEP,

I never came across such tools.
