Network "refresh" command?

I'm in the process of changing/re-arranging my network connections. The addresses will remain the same as will the names. However when I run netstat now, the order in which the lan values appears is different (lan0, lan1, lan3...). Is there a command that "refreshes" the network and re-orders the lan connections in numerical order (again, lan0, lan1,lan2...)?

Re: Network "refresh" command?

Hi,

I don't think there is any such command, except sort. But this is like sorting the output.

Hope this helps.

Re: Network "refresh" command?

Even after a reboot, my lan connections are not in order.

It may have been a happenstance that it was in order for you.
