network statistical data

Hi,
how can I get statistical data on a specific network interface in a non-interactive way? I know that I can use lanadmin, but I didnt find out how to use it from a script.

I need to get RX/TX data from each interface on the system.

nevermind, I found it :)
lanadmin -g mibstats ppa_number
